The annual tournament was held at the Golden Isles Soccer Complex over the Labor Day weekend.
Despite rain and lightning delays all 41 games were played and all the teams went home happy and with fond memories of the Jekyll Island tournament.

And Bill Daley -The playground by the mini-golf is a great success with my youngest son - he can play happily and safely there for a couple of hours.

On July 15 2007 at Summer Waves Water Park the Hannah Montana Lip Sync Showcase will be held from 1-3 pm. Winners will receive Hannah Montana CDs and DVDS and the finale winner will be enterted into a grand drawing to see the taping of an episode of Hannah Montana. This much anticipated facility will provide state-of-the-art emergency care to sick and injured sea turtles, with opportunities for scientific research and long-term treatment. Visitors to the Georgia Sea Turtle Center will explore exhibits on sea turtle conservation, rehabilitation, and their amazing journey from egg to adulthood. School field trips, public programs, and special events will highlight Georgia’s unique coastal ecosystem and the mysterious world of these ancient reptiles.

What a week July 1-6 will be! We are keeping Summer Waves Water Park open late on July 1 to kick-off the July 4 week with a fireworks show over Pirate’s Passage. We will also have live entertainment and glow necklaces for the kids.

Then, bring the family to the beach near Jekyll Island’s Beachdeck for DeeJay entertainment, including an always popular dance contest. When the sun sets, the sky will light up with our Fireworks Extravaganza!
